The last step in the revision process is proofreading. Ideally, you have had your manuscript line-edited or copyedited before proofreading. In this service, I look for typos, spelling errors, and any blatant formatting issues.
Note that this is not checking for grammar, sentence structure, word choice, etc. For more in-depth editing, consider a copyedit or line edit.
